COLECTIVO ANINAT & SWINBURN La reinterpretación de ciertas formas simbólicas que se instalan en la cotidianidad, como acontecimientos, ritos, gestos, nos permite hallar en lo cotidiano, nuestro sentido religioso del mundo, en sus distintos grados de sacralidad. El arte, en sí mismo, es un acto de fe. Es desde esa fe que nosotras hacemos arte. Perseguimos que nuestra obra funcione como un catalizador de la fe de los espectadores, y generar a través de esto, una vuelta al arte como rito significativo. Las problemáticas que establecen nuestros trabajos se generan a partir de la intersección entre lo sacro y lo popular, entre lo práctico y lo real, entre el humor y la sentencia. Buscamos que nuestros proyectos sean una reconquista, que generen un reencuentro de la experiencia espiritual del arte, y en este proceso, se nos remite al espacio de lo sagrado, a través de unas formas que, se pueden entender como ritos, ritos construidos sobre otros ritos, narraciones construidas sobre otras narraciones. Generalmente, nuestras imágenes parecen estar invadidas de una gran solemnidad, de un aura sacra, dadas las estructuras y cánones que en ellas utilizamos, en el ordenamiento de los elementos, en la ubicación de nuestra propia presencia y en los símbolos que reinterpretan. Tal vez podríamos decir que nuestra obra es un sincretismo, un intento de conciliar doctrinas distintas, un proceso de transculturación y mestizaje, la unión de lo sacro y lo pagano, que tal vez nos identifica al ser mujeres artistas latinoamericanas pertenecientes a una era en donde somos participes de múltiples encuentros y realidades. The art in itself is an act of faith. It is from this faith that we do art. We pursue our work to function as a catalyst for the faith of viewers, and generated through this, turn to art as a meaningful ritual. The problems that set our work are generated from the intersection between the sacred and popular, among the practical and real, between humor and the sentence. We seek that our projects are a reconquest, generating a reunion of the spiritual experience of art, and in this process, we are referring to the sacred space, through forms that can be understood as rites, rituals built on other rituals, stories built on other stories. Generally, the images appear to be invaded by a great ceremony, a sacred aura, given the structures and fees to use them in the order of the elements at the location of our own presence and reinterpretation of the symbols. Perhaps we could say that our work is a syncretism, an attempt to reconcile various doctrines, a process of transculturation and miscegenation, the union of the sacred and the pagan, that we may identify as Latin American women artists from an era where we participate in many meetings and realities.
